after having it setup just i just do 3 steps to create a new project: 1. hg init /var/hg/repos/MYPROJECT 2. emacs /var/hg/repos/MYPROJECT/.hg/hgrc edit: [web] push_ssl = false allow_push = * contact = Project Username description = Project Text allow_archive = gz, zip, bz2 3. chown -R www-data:www-data /var/hg 07.12.13 last one check cgi mod is enable $ a2enmod cgi 07.12.13 for linux: chown www-data:www-data/ /var/hg -R 07.12.13 chown www-data:www-data /var/hg/ -Rf 07.12.13
