How to fix the png rgb color differences within mac browser.07.12.13

sometime mac' browser are showing different rgb png colors even they have the same rgb values. than mac is using the gamma info of the png. a solution is to delete all those gamma infos out of the pngs. batch example to delete all gamma info and overwrite the original file: 1. in debian install pngcrush apt-get install pngcrush 2. go into the directory where your pngs are and execute the following batch command: for file in *.png ; do pngcrush -rem gAMA -rem cHRM -rem iCCP -rem sRGB "$file" "${file%.png}-crushed.png" && mv "${file%.png}-crushed.png" "$file" ; done http://askubuntu.com/questions/26569/how-to-get-pngcrush-to-overwrite-original-files 07.12.13
