1. make jquery load into wordpress add this example line to the plugin ini function: wp_enqueue_script( 'myJavascript',get_bloginfo('wpurl').'/wp-content/plugins/myplugin/js/application.js', array('jquery')); 2. add the following function to the application.js file function ajax_import(site_url) { jQuery.post(site_url+"/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php", {action:"ak_attach", 'cookie': encodeURIComponent(document.cookie)}, function(str) { alert(str); }); } 3. in your plugin main file add the following register hook: add_action('wp_ajax_ak_attach', 'ajaxResponse'); 4. in your plugin main file add the following php function : function ajaxResponse() { global $wpdb; global $userdata; get_currentuserinfo(); echo "Hello ". $userdata->user_login; exit; } 5. in your plugin page function call the before created javascript function with the following call: echo '<script type="text/javascript"> ajax_import("'. get_bloginfo('wpurl') .'") </script>'; 07.12.13
