Follow these instructions step by step to prepare your mac. - Download and unzip android-sdk-mac_x86 from android developers site. http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html - Open android-sdk-mac_x86/tools/android - Android SDK Manager will start in new window. You will see over dozen checkboxes. Some of them will be already ticked, some not. The status also will be listed. For example you will see: Android SDK tools - Installed Android SDK Platform-tools Not installed - Make sure to tick on checkbox of Android SDK Platform-tools ! - Uncheck Android 4.0 (API 14), This will automatically uncheck following boxes: Documentation for Android SDK, SDK platform, Samples for SDK, ARM EABI v7a System image, Google APIs by Google Inc. (of course you can leave these checked if you don't care of you disk space, or in case your are going to start developing Android apps in future) - press on Install 1 package. Instalation proces of Android SDK Platform-tool will begin. during installation process new window 'Android SDK Manager Log' will pop up. just wait a second. - then one more new window will pop up 'ADB Restart' A package that depends on ADB has been updated. Do you want to restart now? - press YES. - press 'Close' on 'Android SDK Manager Log' window. Your Mac is ready to transfer files to your Galaxy Tab 10.1 Follow the steps from my previous post or read here again in short: -connect you Galaxy Tab to Mac using usb -open android-sdk-mac_x86/tools/ddms -in Dalvik Debug Monitor window select your device -in menu bar open Device -> File Explorer -in new File explorer window open any folder of you Galaxy Tab and just drag and drop there any file form your Mac Finder window. 07.12.13
