Structure first. Always: doc → structure → layout → style.

Structure first. Always: doc → structure → layout → style. The renderer reads structure, decides layout from it, and Pico supplies style. Each layer only sees the one before it — layout never reads style, and the doc never mentions either. That's the whole point: change any layer, the other two don't notice. In build order: 1. Define the structure — the schema, field names and types. This is the only layer that touches documents. 2. Decide layout — per section, in the renderer. Grid here, stack there. Config, not data. 3. Apply style — stylesheet. Last, and swappable independently. Which means the schema is the first thing to get right, and it's the only thing that needs to be right before you can render anything at all. If you want to move, that structure is where to move.
