How to execute sqlite3 from a shell?

sqlite3 dev.db <<SQL_ENTRY_TAG_1 delete from iptocs; SQL_ENTRY_TAG_1 this shell command will open database dev.db than execute the query delete from table what will remove all records from a table. if u like than execute another table than just type sqlite3 dev.db <<SQL_ENTRY_TAG_2 querry .... SQL_ENTRY_TAG_2
