* Reboot the machine, go to the GRUB Modify boot parameters by adding init=/bin/bash ``` linux /boot/vmlinuz-5.10.0-18-amd64 root=/dev/sdal ro quiet init=/bin/bash ``` * Reboot with CTRL + X or other and enter when console comes up, make writeable and change password ``` mount -o remount, rw / passwd``` * reboot
