Clone a linux partion
05.02.19
# ddrescue -f -n /dev/sdX /dev/sdY rescue.log Using ddrescue ddrescue is a tool designed for cloning and recovering data. It copies data from one file or block device (hard disc, cdrom, etc) to another, trying to rescue the good parts first in case of read errors, to maximize the recovered data. To clone a faulty or dying drive, run ddrescue twice. First round, copy every block without read error and log the errors to rescue.log.
