Fixed a jumping cursor touchpad on a gentoo and debian laptop

in gentoo and debian 8 my touchpad had a jumping cursor. first i installed xinput http://www.mepis.org/docs/en/index.php?title=Configuring_the_touchpad_with_xinput but after adding the below file /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf it stopped finally. add the file /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/50-synaptics.conf Section "InputClass" Identifier "touchpad catchall" Driver "synaptics" MatchIsTouchpad "on" # This option is recommend on all Linux systems using evdev, but cannot be # enabled by default.
