1. save and zip the container to a image # docker export CONTAINER | gzip > image.tar.gz 2. copy the image.tar.gz to the other host 3. unzip and import the image file to the local docker # gzcat image.tar.gz | docker import - IMAGENAME 4. create a new container from this image by running it: (the starting point will be the supervisor what will start up the installed container services) # docker run -ti -d --name CONTAINERNAME IMAGENAME "/usr/bin/supervisord"
