example: on my host i have under /etc/customer/webs/shop a webproject and i mount into the container /var/customers/webs/shop with -v sudo docker run -p 127.0.0.1:81:80 -v /var/customers/webs/shop/:/var/customers/webs/shop -i -t debian7 /bin/bash

but if you use boot2docker like for mac than you need to access the boot2docker ip get the ip with: # boot2docker ip 13.06.15
